Hi, my name is Kirsten
In 1994 I was drugged
and raped by my brother
while my mom watched.
He raped me a 2nd time
when we were alone. I started
To remember bits and pieces
In 2008, and in the past 3 years
I’ve recovered more vivid detailed
Memories. It’s too bad statutes of
Limitations only go 20 years. I hope
That my story helps other survivors
Of sexual assault by family and know that this type of assault is more common than people think
That this type of assault is very common
